Virtual Reality Laser Show Simulator (VRLSS) (formerly Vrilda) is the first laser show simulation program that supports virtual reality via head-mounted displays. VRLSS allows you to simulate laser shows (in the ILDA file format) in the most realistic way possible. VR head-mounted displays such as the Oculus Rift is a revolutionary form of media. You feel like you are actually there rather than just watching something on a screen.
VRLSS is currently in beta version. It currently only supports the Oculus Rift HMD, and Windows 7 or newer. You can also simulate shows in 2D if you don't have an Oculus rift.
NB: The program is compiled on an older Oculus Rift SDK 0.6. To use it with the most recent runtime, you can use a wrapper library like this: https://github.com/kalavaras/LibOVRWrapper/releases (Download the most recent version and follow instructions in README.MD)
(We aim to natively support the newest Rift runtime and also HTC Vive and others as soon as possible but we have some technical issues)
VRLSS is free and open source.
